Volunteers Needed for Walk to Defeat ALS

The ALS Association is in need of volunteers for the 2023 Walk to Defeat ALS at Point State Park on September 9th. The Pittsburgh Walk is always a lively community event, raising money for ALS care, research, & advocacy.

We had several BGSA volunteers at last year’s Walk and received positive feedback about the event.

The Friday night shift and 1st Saturday shift will assist with set up. The second shift will be facilitating Walk Day activities such as registration, t-shirt hand out, directing walkers, etc. The third shift will be Walk Day activities and clean up.
