Citizen Science Lab Volunteering Opportunities


Help get kids excited about science through theses Citizen Science Lab Volunteering Opportunities! This month there are 3 ways to get involved with this group! 

 

-April 8th they are hosting their Eclipse Programs from 1-4:30 at two distinct locations Two separate locations: South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) 41 Macek Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 AND Mt Lebanon Public Library 16 Castle Shannon Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. At this event volunteers will lead eclipse and other space related activities for kids! -On April 16th from 3:30-6:30 at Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) help out Citizen Science Lab show off their lab space and teach kids how to use some basic lab equipment! -On April 27th at : Hill District, 1727 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 they are in need of volunteers to help man their table at the August Wilson House Block Party! This will be a fun opportunity to show attendees some exciting science demonstrations and experiments! This event is from 10am-7pm, but volunteers can pick what times work best for them!
